How come a person like Shankar could come with a movie like anniyan...? Again, it depends on person to person, for me the movie was a crap...!
Tell Me your dreams-Sidney Sheldon == Anniyan. Though i dint get a chance to read the book, i read the back cover and reviews here and there, seems that the movie is a xerox copy.
Tamil movies will never improve, guys we dont want too much of graphics and stunts... please give us good stories.

i agree with you on that.the movie was total crap and well i have read tell me your dreams and the book is damn good. but of late what is it with tamil movies and schizophrenia? first it was the absurd chandramukhi..and now its anniyan? both the movies were totally off standard and well still a hit?!! personally i think anniyan is a mixture of indian+gentleman+mudhalvan cast in the shell of tell me your dreams.
