[+] - i dunno what is plus in the movie, sorry except for one song, even yuvan disappointed. Even surya's acting skills are wasted.
[-] - Director hari, one humble request, we all know that making a movie is not a joke for that we have high regards, but make a movie enjoyable, this movie is like a repeat telecast of your earlier movies --- extensive use of cell phones, high speed jeep chase, mixing three four scenes together...dude we saw this earlier and we saw it from you... so please stop
overall verdict... watch the movie only if you have no other work

You are wrong. Vel is well taken. I am not a suriya fan. He has acted well. Great screen play. Much much better than ATM.
yeah i agree with you, Vel is better than ATM. ATM is worst, I didnt expect ATM would be this worst.....

I am not sure we saw the same film. Vel was thoroughly enjoyable and much better than any films we had seen lately. My gripe was with some parts of Vadivelu's humour, as I find slapstick humour nauseating. I agree with you on the songs though. Nothing memorable...and many stars were in the film but limited roles.

Vel is a super hit and the story line is entertaining and superb acting by Suriya and has proved himself. Yuva is a dissapontment with the music. ATM is a utter flop and even when you have nothing to do dont watch ATM. Atrocious acting and feeble story line.
ATM is superb! Vijay has done well in both roles..and infact the negative role was fantastic.Shreya is beautiful..althought didnt have an ooportunity to act. Aashish vidyarthi was a waste. Songs are AWESOME,outta the world. Maduraikku pogadedi..is my favourite.
Overall movie is super good...vijay is the next superstar.
@karthikka - my take is that, hari is doing the same thing again and again!!!
seems to have a rating of 8/10 here: Vel Tami Movie Review, I haven't seen the movie yet, but based on reviews seems to be a average show.
